Grand Opening of the Navasota Municipal Disc Golf Course

As Navasota Lions we aim to give back and improve our local community. One of our most recent local projects has been partnering with the City of Navasota for a new municipal disc golf course. We as a club have purchased all the baskets for the new park and you will find our logo on each basket as well as the score cards.

We would also like to thank BSA troop 361 (Navasota) for helping put together the baskets at the new course!

The Grand Opening was on August 22nd where multiple professional disc golf athletes joined and put on free clinics for those who attended. The roster included Megan Burch of the Women’s Pro division, Caller Burch who is a four time jr. Women’s State Champion, and Wesley Burch who is a Men’s Master Division athlete.

Our own Alan Shoalmire was out there for the event with his hot dog cart (Grill Sergeant) and we provide free waters for those attending.
